The ENSOGREEN team has extensive experience in delivering special forest technical works throughout Greece, with a strong presence in the Evia region.
The works are carried out through public tenders announced by ΤΑΙΠΕΔ, with the Ministry of Environment and Energy as the contracting authority, and the competent Forest Directorates or local Forest District Offices as the supervising authorities.
Special forest technical works include, indicatively:
- Restoration of burned forest areas and implementation of anti-erosion and flood protection measures.
- Clearing works, including the removal of combustible material and accumulated biomass.
- Stream cleaning and channel management to prevent natural disasters.
- Construction of timber engineering works, such as log bundles, log check dams, and brushwood barriers.
- Opening and maintenance of forest roads and firebreaks.
