Flood Protection in Central Euboea
ENSOGREEN implemented a comprehensive flood protection project in the Central Euboea region, making a substantial contribution to safeguarding the local community and infrastructure against extreme weather events.
Through targeted interventions in the natural streambed, the project strengthened slope stability, ensured the smooth flow of water, and reduced the risk of overflow that threatened agricultural land, residential areas, and critical infrastructure.
At the same time, by applying modern technical solutions, the project achieved the retention of debris and restored the hydraulic balance of the stream channel, enhancing the area’s long-term resilience.
